a disc of new songs and a disc of old ones
got me into othеrs with ‘y’all ready know’ and ‘pop the trunk’
and i was gone, no turning back, shady rеcords for life
by that time i’d picked up the pen and began to write
‘kings never die’, i heard it the night it came out
2015, by then i’d also heard about
‘infinite’, ‘ss’ and ‘mmlp’s
to ’eminem show’, ‘encore’, ‘relapse’, ‘recovery’
the ‘bad meets evil’ reunion and ‘welcome to: our house’
and scanned through yelawolf’s ‘love story’ when it came out
i had ‘best friend’ on repeat for a good two months or so
it was the only song i’d listen to a million times in a row
and then you introduced me to tech n9ne and krizz
when you collaborated on ‘speedom’, now i’m repping dibkis
do it big, keep it strange, strange music, the snake and the bat
it’s 2019 and your labels are still the homes of rap
i’m not gon’ mention every tech album he’s released to date
cause that’s all the way from ’99 to today
this year i went and saw you live in brisbane, australia
knew every word to every song, even the guest artists that played with ya
but boogie’s solo act was hard to keep up with
now ‘everything for sale’ is something i’m still bumping

now let’s go back a few years to 2017
the hypes on for ‘revival’ that’s coming soon it seems
december 15, ‘river’ was on the radio
‘walk on water’ was the only song that i was playing though
’til i listened to it all, different elements of you
‘castle’ and ‘arose’ aimed at your daughters and proof
‘framed’ was aimed at the ‘relapse’ audience
‘believe’ and ‘chloraseptic’ were remarkable songs but i must admit
the only song i didn’t like first listen was ‘heat’
but with the album on repeat it really grew on me
the 2 chainz remix answered questions about the comments
“beyonce isn’t an eminem-standard artist”
i love ‘revival’ but ‘kamikaze’ destroyed the industry
no more wack ‘lil’ rappers that my generation’s listening to
and em, i thank you
you’ve changed my life view and helped me right through
my one goal is to be up in that shady records office
signing the contract to become official shady records profit
i’m a prophet but my sk!lls aren’t developed to their full potential yet

this is my attempt at getting people to listen to me
slim, this rhyme is meant for getting me on your record dealing
beats and rhymes defend themselves and steam blows up literally
simplify the rhythm and just leave for i’ve lit up the beat
let you light your head up as i k!ll all you figuratively
rhythms shine like rays that play with people’s sight visually
this is fire and my plans ain’t see through, i hit hard with these
spitting rhymes that bend and then i need more to finish the scheme
listen guys, i’m venting with my evil pen lyrically
criticise a man and then tell people he’s dissing emcees
wish i’d write like eminem cause he’s always ripping the beat
critics spite my sentences but teachers say different things
think of my pen blending them with lethal ink, split arteries
slinging lines at tendons and veins leaving ’em dripping with ink
reaching my goals and i’ll never redo it, this is for me
spit like idols and i’m h-ll like ‘evil’ but in the new scene!
