‘emo’s highschool’ is the first studio album by shirugoth , releases august 5th 2022
the album is a mix of genres such as pop punk , pop rock and alternative styles, focusing on the emo phase that people have been through
so the album title “emo’s highschool” is based on that the album is a safe place where emos and people who feels different inside a community in general are all fused together
with some of personal experiences and thе fights i had in my life a while ago , the album rеsume everything as a reality on some live instruments
however, the album was made in a short time between 1,5 week and 2 weeks making about 2 months away from goth’s last release “dark romance 2”. the artwork of the album shows the artist laying with his electric guitar on books wich means that the school system we are all used to is not the only school in life , but also there’s lot of other things that can make people survive in this world
“emo’s highschool” is composed from 16 songs without excluding intro & interludes, here’s the tracklist:

notice:
the 16th track ‘i regret last december’ is considered as the final verse deleted from dark romance 2 , might be as an apology song showing what happened to the artist and the things post-dark romance after it was released
the song also concludes the album , with an acoustic mixed with alternative and a heavy punk-rock switch at the middle of the song

goth’s (about it):

“it took me 5 hours straight to write ‘december’
sadly how…everything that left a mark in my life for the past 6 years only happened on december
it’s like my whole life is stuck in this month of each year
even though it’s hard to express the way i felt, the mistakes i made that i regret until now , the way i wrote this song, last song on the album , seems like to be my last song alive…it will.”
