i open up my eyes, deranged and delirious
a conscious state of unconsciousness
vision slowly adjusts to a world unknown
it is cold, i am naked, a bitter wind is freezing my blood
the specters surrounds yet solitude embeds me
their hollow eyes stare at my body, still i am estranged

this world is rotten, i see it clearly now
controlled by a grey colorless m-ss
they all try to shape me into one of them
but i won’t give in, i will never be one of you

i close my eyes and i try to escape
they are shaking me, screaming, trying to break me down
their voices cuts like razors in my mind and their tongues burns like lava on my skin
it feels like my blood is boiling
l!cking my body i am covered in saliva
their stench is filling my lungs
i am suffocating
torture to change, but i’m used to the pain
their efforts of changing me are useless

with open eyes i see the barren landscape, not a soul in sight, just wasteland
is it all an hallucination?
what is real?
the pain and loneliness i feel; those are the only things i’m sure of
i want to scream, i want to escape but my legs won’t follow and my mouth does not make a sound
it feels like i am frozen in time

my eyes are sweeping across the land
i see a frozen world, cold as mankind itself
trees dead and torn apart of the frozen water
rocks that are buried deep within the ice
the ravages of time has blown away all traces of life
this is a place where only solitude can grow and it is growing stronger as my mind slowly weakens
is it here my eternity dwells?
