letra de scene before - schawayna raie
scene before
verse
i know you, i’ve seen your face before
you try to hide but you can’t no more
afraid you are, to allow seeing
the beautiful, that hides beneath
been searching, for a long while
broken, no longer see your smile
can’t imagine a life without sorrow and pain
hold your head down, filled with so much shame
chorus
broken, scared, abused, used
liked, appreciated, loved, adored
torn, ashamed, confused, mistaken
accomplished, achieved, renewed, freed
poem (reedi g)
dark remnants of past experience play hide go seek with my
existence
encapsulating my freedom and blurring my vision
it’s hard to see beauty through gl-sses stained with sin
or multiple whispers of failures that come from within
there has to be a way to begin again
to reverse the curse of mistakes past
to see half full the gl-ss to find the joy that this time will last
but there’s no remedy for insecurities or keys to escaping mental
captivity
no recipe for spiritual healing, yet i’m searching
cause i do believe, no wait, i insist, that there has to be somthing
greater than this
i just have to find it
chorus
verse
here i am, staring at myself once more
once messed up, now someone to adore
no longer holding on to past heartaches
no longer feel ashamed for past mistakes
i love me again, i am free again, i can live again
i am change, i feel strange, no more chains
i know you, i’ve seen your face before
you smile again, because you’re so much more
no longer afraid of what you see
the beautiful inside has been set free………………
