get a glimpse of my calligraphy
if you can please lend an ear to soliloquy
judging by my sentencing i think you might like it
but instead of buy it, they walk right by it
at times it can get discouraging
cause good feedback is like an emcee’s nourishment
but that’s preferred cause when the hate starts surfacing
i start to fall off, wondering where my courage went
everybody’s ent-tled to how they feel
but i’m not asking to like it i asked you to keep it real
they say don’t take it personal tell me to lighten up
but who’s telling you your off & what to tighten up
nonetheless i pick my pen up & try again
& surge to be triumphant time & time again
cause everybody wanna hop aboard when you on
then boot you off your own train once you get dethroned

spirit starts to weaken
i lose a bit of p-ssion
forget what i’m seeking

then it hit me, what am i waiting for
they won’t let me in, sh-t i’ll break the door x2

verse 2:

break the door, break the door
this obstacle is nothing short from what i faced before
my defenders work well so i sp-ce the floor
dream k!llers playing press you better race to yours
with positive people you plan to keep around
no negativity in them to try & keep you down
sometimes i wanna throw it all away, leave it to burn
deep in thought, contemplating a u-turn
don’t get your hopes up is what i learned
enthused with the many heads you think that you can turn
what’s ill to you might be trash to the next guy
that’s why most come n go but the best die
they we’re strong & had the heart to keep fighting
fans ignore the misery that accompanies the writing
so every time that you hear a new joint
make sure before you judge it check the artist viewpoint
