i’ve been writing songs for hours
but i always come up short
and people tend to criticize them a lot
and i never have good retorts
the ideas float out of my brain
when i come up with them each night
and i can never grasp on to what remains
before they’re misty in my mind

maybe i need a band
i think i could use a band
we’ll write some messed up singles
and we’ll tour across all the land

peanut tree nut and gluten free
that’s the band name that appeared to me
we’re gonna go on tour, play a lot of shows
and maybe shoot a couple cr-ppy videos

we have been sued by pez
apparently we were infringing on their copyright
i said “no, we were not
we’re legally distinct”

but then our lawyers told us
we shouldn’t say that
it would get us in more trouble
so now we have to rebrand
i think i need a new idea
we are now the gumball dispenser band
like the ones they used to have outside of the walmart
we will sing about those dispensers but we won’t mention pez
so we can still sing about the dispensers and candy
just not about pez

alright lets see if we can rework pezhead

i’ve been chewing nothing but gum for the last 200 days-
