the mega million hit a billion dollars this past week
i think i got a little confessing to do

it wouldn’t have been right cuz i tried to buy tickets in the worst part of town
thinking where the people need it most got the highest chance of winning
turns out, i couldn’t have been more wrong
the whole d-mn day was a nightmare, an ordeal
should’ve never called off at work
lost a day’s whole pay and i ain’t get nothing back
bought twelve winning tickets and lost on every one
ever since i been seeking forgiveness to avoid being cursed
god, i know i tried to reverse robin hood a major purse
and that’s f-cked up, but
people done a lot worse for way less
way, way less
should i feel that bad about it?
if i really came up on a billi
i would’ve given like, um, half to charity
okay, i’ma come clean, i’m capping
i woulda bought me a crib, a dumb stupid silly one at that
so i could show rick ross he ain’t the only one with money
and he ain’t the only one with the bag

i would’ve given some away to a really good cause
but not to non-profits who been stealing from haiti
maybe planned parenthood so they could save our ladies
but not texas, bounty hunting for babies
and i ain’t really wanna bring this up, but here i go

i pulled up outside the liquor store in a broke down hoopty
hoping n0body was none the wiser
but waiting outside the front door was a blind old lady
sipping heavy red label budweiser
tried to catch her off guard with small talk, i did my best but i don’t think i could phase her
she was blind but looking me up and down, like she a hater
probably sixth sensing i was here for the paper

she got to hating, like, “you ain’t gonna win it”
okay, but if i did, that’d be nice
it’s only like a $2 investment, that’s crazy
or like $3 if you really wanna splurge
like, who wouldn’t jump at that opportunity?
i even saw rich men buying tickets that night
she said okay, then give me two singles, so i can play the number
ah, sorry ma’am, kind of strapped right now
yeah, i lied to her face
but she can’t say i never looked her in the eye
by now i’m inside the store and need to choose
which one of these tickets gonna change my life?
and which one of these tickets gonna change my wife?
and which one of these tickets gonna raise my height?
and which one of these tickets gonna make me a stuck up fool and buy everything i don’t need twice?

the powerball probably pay out crazy
but i’m going for the billy mega milly tonight

and that’s when it hit me, i don’t even really know how to play
i just heard how much it pays on the news
i’m seeing senior citizens fill out forms like they fixing to vote
i’m like, how you know which bubbles to choose?
