i decided to socialize for a change
the sun was up, barely any wind
and anything could happen in a day

staring out the window of my apartment
watching people on the street
’till they vanish in the horizon
all the boys at the pier each had their skateboards
i regretted not bringing mine

i met an artist who takes photos on film

i wanted to stay but a fight was about to break
so i packed up, turned on some music
and walked away
to the docks and ate some sushi
as my nose slowly quivered
i took a walk around and noticed
a man dive into the river (from up high)
i wanted to join but i didn’t have a swimsuit
and i had already washed my hair
so i just watched the man as i stood right there
the sun was setting and i started to feel cold
and hungry so i went home
