thank you to everyone for tuning in to the chicago tapes

a little over a year ago, soon after the release of delilah, i made an 18 month itinerary for my music releases and career path

on that itinerary, i planned things like love letters, ashmosis, the dorm ep, rico, and the chicago tapes

i’m currently on month 13, and have stayed consistently on time with my releases and on course to where i want to be as an artist

with 5 months left, i have only 2 more releases to go; naughty or nice, which will be for my yearly christmas release, and my debut album, sat-rday off
upon release of sat-rday off, i will have 21 official releases on my belt, accounting for singles that will lead up to the album’s release. this is an insane number for me to grasp, and would definitely blow the mind of 16 year old nick, who spent consecutive nights in his bas-m-nt to create then came the rain

sat-rday off is something i’ve been wanting to do for 2 years now. its concept has evolved as i have, and has become way more than the music, and way more than me. it will be my most important piece of work, and will truly make me feel established as an artist. not only is it the culmination of everything that came prior to it, but it is as well the beginning of something new, something real
