dedede broke the star rod
and gave it to his friends

gonna hunt down the pieces to bring the dreams back
whoever’s in my way is gonna turn into a snack!
so, i jump on this star, now it’s time to warp
gotta hit the first stage, got a 1 above the door
gotta suck someone up, and get their powers right quick
cuz to tell the truth, i kinda suck without it
