i ordered a 8-corner pizza and some powerade
i apologize if i came an hour late
when i made the order, i completely misread the time
cashier said “no worries, your total is 12.85”
gave him 13 and said “keep that nickel and dime”
took the box and headed for a bench outside
took that first bite, and i never felt more alive
my mom finds out i’m eating this much she would be mortified
horrified saying that i’m acting like a pig
but i haven’t ate since i woke up at 5 past 6
in the morning, sitting through like 4 boring classes
with 8 different tests to restore scoring passes
i need this so much, this is stomach and mind filling
at this point, all i really care about is time k!lling
normally the library closes at like 9 something
when it’s dark outside, and i’m going home, ru-ru-running

two slices left in the box, because i’m that hungry
plus i’m a fast eater, and so i act dummy
eat up both slices, then i’m mouth and throat wiping
that’s the best 13 dollars i spent in cash money

thank god i don’t really have to do more things
pick up my bag off the table of the marble green
make sure both my pockets are full and then i start to leave
walking down the stairs of the restaurant patio
well on my way, i don’t need any navi tho
when i’m traveling home, i know my way around lily valley
wanna get home asap, so there ain’t no dilly dally
when i get home, prolly eat some popcorn
the smartfood kind i hope that we got more
i usually eat a bag a day and bought a 8-pack last week
so that means there should be at least one more for me
