having no choice but to save gohan recieves help from rival turned friend piccolo who helped goku save gohan and take down raditz
piccolo, charged the special beam cannon, k!lled raditz also k!lling goku, in the process, resulting in goku being dead for 7 years
goku get’s revived by the earth dragon b-lls, get’s training from king kai, he sets for earth, arriving to take down nappa and vegeta
nappa gets defeated, vegeta takes his anger out on nappa, k!lling him in a instant, goku faces vegeta, vegeta proves no match for goku
goku uses more kaioken, to take down vegeta, vegeta awakens great ape mode, to crush goku, vegeta prevails but his tail get’s cut off
vegeta tends to retreat in his sp-ce pod which krillin doesn’t allow and tries to k!ll vegeta but goku stops him from trying to k!ll vegeta
krillin let’s vegeta get away, goku is severely weakened, using too much kaioken, to defeat vegeta, goku was badly wounded
goku recovers, trains more with king kai, learns the sprit bomb technique, goku’s 2nd rival is waiting for him to appear

the total package when he goes super saiyan to master ultra insinct
well, if you count dragon ball gt cannon, super saiyan 4 is noncannon, that’s my opinion
goku got struck by the spritbomb, goku recieves immense power, which he unlocks ultra instinct, against jiren
goku, regains the immense power 2 more times, until fully mastering it, against jiren who, went full power
goku, unlocks mastered ultra instinct, and beats down jiren until goku’s body was weakened, from the immense power, he recieved
weak and powerless, goku was forced to watch while his 2 last teammates, were fighting jiren, until goku had, enough power left
frieza, worked with goku to eliminate jiren, they had to use full power, to knock out jiren, and eliminated themselves
goku’s universe prevailed, in the tournament of power, against the other universes that partic-p-ted, and became good friends with jiren, wishing to fight him, again
goku and vegeta meet broly, who is a strong enemy, goku and vegeta fused into gogeta, transformed into super saiyan blue, to defeat broly, goku became good friends with broly
