“family and friends, we are gathered here today in memory of samuel abner. sam was a beloved husband, father and friend. he knew how to make you smile even during your darkest times. he was truly passionate about always doing what was right, even when no one was watching. sam didn’t have to try to do things right, it just came naturally. he would sacrifice his own well being just for you to be comfortable, and that is truly an admirable quality. his devotion to his wife and son should be an inspiration for us all. most people have a false perception of how they view life, and they put so much energy into trying to create a reality that is socially acceptable, but sam, no, sam was different. sam believed that life was simple and that true happiness came from being content, so that is exactly how he lived his life. now we all know that sam was a firm believer in our lord and savior, jesus christ, so we can find great comfort in the fact that we will one day see him again in heaven. until then, we must be there for one another during these times of heartache, for healing is a much less painful process in the company of our loved ones. sam’s legacy will carry on for generations and his memory will live in our hearts forever. thank you all so much for coming today.”
