the internet for you could be something completely different
than what it is for me

i mean i like to say it’s way for humans to communicate and be more connected
but connected to what? our digital selves?
these like false personas we’ve created out of our inner narcissist
where we sell our opinions and personal lives
for reactions and self gratification
it’s like it’s become a breeding ground for fake news, cowards, f-ck boys
whatever the f-ck it is, i hate to say it but i’m addicted

the internet is nothing more than just a dark hole
that compliments my dark soul
a follow for a follow leaves the world blind in a repost
going through withdrawals
i have to log in when i need dose
i want to wake up one more morning
and not feel the need to check my phone
do i have to know everything?
probably not
but even when life’s all peachy

plenty wishing, they could have my spot
