everything
that you gone find
in this world, is right before you in a poem
deep in my mind so i decided to show ’em
stanzas, lines
and i’m watching ya face glowing
as hiphop moves
other genre’s get thrown in
i’m outgrowing
the complacency of rap
searching new heights
watch them overlap
bring the beat back
throw on another track

music
it only gets elusive
from here, so have no fear

haikus make you “say yes”
like floetry
i aim to make the flow calm
so it be, moving in ya soul
only for the strong minded
far from one sided
go rewind it
flows from my pen it’s like
every word, i signed it
penmanship blinded

similes, idioms
take you high
helium

snap your fingers
close your eyes if you relate
when poetry’s deep in your soul
there ain’t no way to escape
so i go and grab my cape
to save the day from the pressures of life
hit the fire escape, scape to the lounge at night
to hear some spoken word
the scene you observe
lyrics you absorb
food for thought that everyone can afford
poetry eases the stress
it starts to caress
ya mind
starts to undress
and find
ya insecurities
and throws them in ya face
snap ya fingers if you can relate
different chapters but we on the same page
can you equate?
let my words resonate
