and i know what’s the cause, it’s money, power, respect
they still neglect the fact that our future is wrecked
all these people asking questions, none are getting answered
waiting for help from anyone ‘n still we keep our high standards
yet even the whole world’s witnessed it’s survival off the fittest
all we do is fighting over things like “who’s the thinnest?”
when it might be time to collide hold back our f’ing pride
’cause we’re deprived from out roots our truth it’s all lies
the media is scarin’ us so we would listen to our government
now it’s the moment to show ’em h-ll, where we from ascend
there’s not much energy spent on their stories
all they do is pretend ’cause there lonely
writin’ to fill up the papers with their phony bit
and hopin’ that you open their bait, that you’re cl1cking it
they just shift the sh-t in a puzzle they like
while you only have the point of view
that they’re seeing through their eyes
dressed up and disguised, the whole story is covered
and everybody just believes ’cause n0body stands above it

in this world they spread the wrong message
everybody acts different, so reckless
behind the screens because they protected

yeah, i just might be what appears to be a calmer man
but keeping our mouths shut won’t be leading to a solution
’cause climats are changing, wars are engaging
leaders are aging and all they do is raging
all that cause they need someone to point their fingers at
but when told to first look at themselves they can only laugh
since it’s them who feel better, this cause of their greater wealth
we should lay ’em in the gutter not receivin’ any help
so with our heads held high, lookin’ up to the sky
we’re hopin’ on a miracle, or atleast a second try
it’s about time to open our eyes or wipe them dry
recovering the truth, stop believin’ these lies
we need a movement, for improvement
tie up all the loose ends it’s confusin’
some fools stand and we follow ’em like “cool man!”

and than then they wonder kids can’t be trusted and use drugs
while we wanna escape reality we’re not some d-mn thugs

everybody can be a victim of the hate that’s misplaced
now or late, you’ll be facin’ the facts
