we used to jam in church, we were so young hearted
a week before our show, our music got disregarded
we didn’t seem to have it, we just didn’t leave em marveling

first performance simply rocked
church clapped in awe
as every heart was shocked
people then believed in us
said we shouldn’t stop
but a few could accept
the changes brought

fast forward a bit and…
the band be losing members
having different goals
some putting in more work than others
lost some good singers cause we busy goofing off
then it hit us hard, we had to change, we had to be involved

a couple good songs, still no gigs

how we gonna focus
the music is in our hearts
yet n0body gon notice
we really need a gig and its starting to seem hopeless

got our big break when auditioning for song night
one night, but we got the confidence to own mics
audition was bad, but in our hearts true
we learned a lot of things from that gig we shouldn’t do

our next big step
was in jojo’s
one whole show, yet we all froze
first time under so much pressure
yet we all rose
i’m just happy for the team
this is our growth

the merging of the bands
this became the fusion
the hashtag no_name, rush revolution
a bigger group, yet ain’t none of us proven
but we doing shows together
we ain’t never losing

but look at the slow pace that we movin
i’m looking out at sean k and sl1cka
they ain’t cruising
so then gabes decided that be producing
and leo decided, he founding the movement

2016! imma flippen own you
they won’t be a single show that i’m not gonna go through
imma k!ll on every show, like i am supposed too
anybody breeding doubt, imma flippen show you!
