humanity needs to let go of this insanity
if you try to say, “that’s not really the way it is”

people for who they are and not let them live their lives
f-ck your faith if it says you should oppose science
or gives license to those who cause or condone violence
f-ck your faith if it says you should discriminate
maybe you should eliminate what you venerate
f-ck your faith, i won’t respect something that’s not real
f-ck what you believe and f-ck how this might make you feel

the god idea is old, don’t you think it should die soon?

it’s not all shooting doctors at abortions clinics
suicide bombers or claims when you’re born you’re wicked
it’s teaching children they should adore some limits
that don’t exist, that’s why i abhor your tenets
the self-hate it causes, forcing people to lie
feeling they’re damaged or thinking they’re evil inside
a derelict notion shouldn’t define what marriage is
used for leverage and as a tool for terrorists
afraid to ask questions knowing how they might react
worried you’ll offend and they’ll think they’re under attack
scared you’ll be rejected if they detect that you don’t respect it
so the fear makes you hate it, and yet still protect it
stop treating it like it’s a virtue on it’s face
keep it separate from public schools and from the state
faith leads to bad decisions and human divisions
not to mention anti-intellectualism
