not close with the victims but the feelings are known

tv showing the saddest of faces, while im inking this paper

prayers go out to the ones thats taken
it hits me in the heart man this is our beloved community
isla vista – a place of student unity, equality – improvements
not mutiny, friends and family i give you my hand through out this tragedy
i talked about it with my girl, man, we running threw emotions
i can’t even image how these families are coping
lives take so young, so curious
just starting life not meant to come face to face with these murders

i lost a friend too, a victim of an accident
instead of helping out i had depression and i crashed in it

living out my life for a counterfeit deposit slip
regrets are heavy tho, you gotta ease the pain
this song goes out to all the victims slain in this tragedy

how many miles would you walk to see your peoples
who have been wrongfully taken by these evils
or maybe that’s the wrong word, they more like mentally disturbed
mentally obscured – they needed help
