[tim spoken: welcome beautiful people of beautiful london. it’s a tremendous pleasure to be here in this lovely, ancient city. london, city of beauty. uh, some of your buildings are a little bit old, but on the whole this is a great lookin’ town. i’d like to, uh, get this evening off by singing a little song ent-tled “please get your tongue out of my mouth, i’m trying to kiss you goodbye… dad”]

[paul spoken: like to get the show off to a rock-rollicking start now]

if you’re happy and you know it
take your grandfather for a walk around the cemetery
so he gets used to the view

if you’re happy and you know it
walk up to a catholic vegetarian and say “body of christ”

[tim spoken: uh, my name is tim and i’d like to just get things rolling now by singing a little song ent-tled “sure they’re not much, but br–sts on a man must mean something… dad”]

[richard spoken: hi, my name’s richard. i’ve just come back from a holiday in blackpool where i fell in love… blackpool. great town, my kind of town. um, where i fell in love for the first time in my life. um, i guess you could say, before i fell in love my soul was like a little kiddies’ paddling pool]

[paul spoken: yeah, full of p-ss]

[richard spoken: except, it had no deep end. it was only shallow, but tonight, beautiful people of london, you’ll find that you all can “deep-end” on me]

[tim spoken: ay ay ay ay ay, hey!]

[paul spoken: come on, settle down. leave him alone, come on]

[tim spoken: leave him alone]

[paul spoken: thanks very much for that little comment on richard’s ability]

[tim spoken: he’s trying as hard as he can. don’t forget, people, richard is one of you. come on, it’s one mind against so few. two, four, six, eight, seven. two, four, what’s?]

[paul spoken: yeah, hmm. not many people here tonight, not as many as we would have liked]

[tim spoken: no]

[paul spoken: uh, it’s a bit unfortunate, actually. we were expecting a few more, uh, friends of ours. they were flying in, ’bout 86 people, um, they’re part of a worldwide, uh, christian community that we are also part of. uh, we have our main… our main commune in waco, texas and they were flying in here. we haven’t heard from them]

i heard somebody say
burn, david, burn
waco inferno
burn, david, burn
burn the commune down
yeah, yeah
burn, david, burn
waco inferno
burn, david, burn
set my kids on fire, ahh!
woomph!

[tim spoken: now there was one man who liked his pork crackling!
aw, come on. for god’s sake, don’t get upset, people. it was ages ago. besides, they were only american christians, for christ’s sake. they’re still a bit warm, but we had jokes written about the sp-ce shuttle disaster before the bl–dy thing hit the water!]

[paul spoken: and if you are gonna get upset, don’t just sit there and get upset, okay. go out and do something positive about it. there’s gonna be a big benefit concert happening in hyde park, uh, next weekend for the survivors of the waco disaster. uh, we’re gonna be playing there, and the headline and is smokie. well, life goes on… for some.]
