some of that based on how much failures weigh
feeling a way, you look for what’s perfect to say

real life objects. conjuring shotty versions, their physics sloppy
and it occurred to me, or about me, but not me
is dreaming just my body’s favorite hobby?
no psychic nothing, not prophecy, just reality off gassing
more usual human happening, within its thin skin packaging
no blueprint for what is or isn’t mattering on earth’s surface
just unraveling urges of sleep creature, cursed with
a concept of purpose that makes living life worth it
