who is wise and understanding among the brethren
which of my brothers have received the wisdom from heaven
show forth your conduct and good works
this is the proof and evidence of your faith and new birth
what is the meekness of wisdom of which we speak
it’s the reception of the word the apostles and prophets teach
receive this with meekness, please read and believe it
its precepts and decrees will lead you to jesus
don’t boast and be false to the truth
bitter jealousy’s a disease that’s rotting your fruit
this is james’ godly rebuke
if your heart is full of selfish ambition
you’ve played yourself ’cause you’ve embraced earthly demonic wisdom, listen
how can we go about putting this into practice
it’s hard to follow this wisdom when our hearts are savage
and grossly barbaric, our minds are inclined to prize what is wise
we would rather despise this than cherish
jesus the meek and lowly, approach him [holy?]
the one who is the wisdom of god, yeah, him only
can impart by the spirit of god wisdom to know he
the living word, the author of faith and the lord of glory
our father in heaven, please by your grace make us hate
even the taste of our sin and its leaven
let us first seek your kingdom and presence
and not be false to the king that we repping

our mission’s to rep him, we’re consistently stepping
in wisdom from heaven, this brings our attention
to lists of direction for christian reflection
the gift and the blessings when wisdom is mentioned
wisdom’s character traits are gentle and pure
we’re sharing our faith and we’re repping the lord
remember the poor, do good deeds and efforts galore
but beware of the fakes and the snares and the snakes
we’re declaring his grace ’cause it affects to the core
in heaven we’ll praise him forever and never get bored
will you get in the door and then cherish this place?
some claim they are woke, but they barely awake
and wisdom is full of peace plus holy speech
