the boy ignores fam, but instead looks at naomi. she looks down for a moment then back at the boy with faint sorrow in her eyes and sighs

naomi: i wanted to help you, but this is the way it has to be. you shouldn’t have trusted me

the boy: i know. it’s okay

fam and naomi look slightly shocked at the boy’s request, but naomi nods. as they lead the boy to the pool outside, he reaches in his pocket for his phone, forgetting dude 1 had taken it earlier. the boy had wanted to check his twitter feed one last time. he thought about how dumb that was since he was about to die, so reached for his vape instead. he hit it a few times while thinking about what naomi said about life being one big cycle and if it was true or not. he made peace with his decision and told himself this was the way it had to be

ext. mansion – day

the boy floats lifeless in the pool just the way he had imagined. except, there was no wave of euphoria, just emptiness. naomi and fam stand by the side of the pool, looking down on the boy

fam: aye i think that’s the first time i’ve seen him use this pool

naomi: at least he went out the way he wanted, but why drowning?

fam: not sure? that n-gga was weird as h-ll though. it was probably, something to do with roscoe’s wetsuit
