the british were most victorious at sea
so the french returned to the land to flee
1760 marks the fall of montreal
led by jeffery amherst a field marshal
september 8th the fighting finally stopped
the british knocked the french right out of their socks
the treaty of paris gave up french american land
from martinique to guadeloupe island sand
because the war was so expensive
it left the british feeling distraught and pensive
they needed money and a fast solution
eventually causing the american revolution
