it’s time for the summer
i know so much about what i want to do these next 4 months while i’m off of school
i could seek my ways through nature, there’s so much of the world left undiscovered
my mom asking me to exercise and play outside and go play in the pool
maybe go jogging outside, i can be quite the runner
go get a tan with a coke in my hands and a pair of shades
or sit in bed and relax all day, that’d be cool
it’s all excitement until the day fades
my mom and dad stuck focusing on setting up vacations
setting up our clothes and all of our food so we won’t have to starvе till we get to our location
sitting in the car, just talking to my friеnds on the phone
listening to songs on the radio
looking out the window, looking at the scenery
looking back on songs that i recorded in my room, the place i called my own personal studio
this is my life, my own documentary
sipping tea in the sun
forgot to put on my lotion, hopefully i don’t get a sunburn
hopefully i don’t get none
and if i do then that’s my mistake i’ve learned
mom and dad putting me to work
having to help around the house
it’s pretty bezerk
figuring out my destination, for the future, trying to find my best route
