20th may 2002 a young blessed talented lady came from an anointed womb. yasirun yasin shaban was born in tanga and raised in dar es salaam, the first child to a mother of two kids and a 3rd kid to her father. her stage name is “yammi” carrying means delicious & spicy
the dream to become a musician started back in primary school and their confidence was built when she began competing in advanced talents back in high school, her biggest inspiration was all indian music and it has always been that way, dreams do come true her first studio session made it easy to believе all was possible
in 2022 after her tiktok pеrforming videos went viral, a call from her inspiration and role model “nandy” made a call that brought life to believing a music career was the real path, despite having two other talents cooking & painting yammi chose to give music all her heart to make sure she fulfilled
