what is your name & where are you from? vonchobaby, from south side jamaica queens

i moved out of south side after i got shot in the neck back in march 2016 which left me paralyzed, i started doing music when i was 17 i got shot at 19 which left me in a deep depression, i didn’t really wanna make music anymore but it’s my passion to keep on going no matter what i’m going through. so i started making music again even in a wheelchair to show people no matter you going through you can still chase your dreams

what got you into music?
my brother holly who passed away in 2020 due to a car accident coming from college, he started me up with music i use to always listen to his freestyles & wanted to rap like him or even better. he was very talented it made me work on my craft more to be better. growing up in a household with him we used to freestyle & make music together he the one who took me to my first studio session & showed me how to rap on beat

what makes you different?
what makes me different is i’m a quadriplegic with swag i’m fly & im my own stylist, i never let my obstacles stop me from wanting to do better & be better. also there’s no big artist in a wheelchair in the music industry right like being the face for it. so i’m trying to be the face i wanna be something special for people w
it’s disabilities im not promoting violence just trying to show people you can use your story & take the pain you been through in life & turn it into success
