the light oh how it blinds thee
to truths no living soul could ever see
open the book
write down whatever comes to mind

there’s no text that conveys
an absolute truth
heed the words of the
protagonist

disregard the prior chapter
stained with ink of pointless doubt
when the question on our minds is:
“do we have the strength
