living through the road hype
locked within the struggle
had me caught up in the street fights

but our future was unspoken without education flowing
down the valleys and the shadows, it was hard for us to cope in
though the journeys and the busses for the deaths, we wasn’t hoping
so we tried to hide our valuables from villans and the enemies
because they tried to rob us with their red-eye hood made tendencies

to bring out fl!ck knives kitchen cutlery or tool
and threatening our lives from our journeys home from school
no it wasn’t even funny when its pressured to your tummy
with the feeling of a loss of your phone and your money

so i look in retrospective
all my friends would be protected
by gang affiliation
from their area collective

just in case there on the wrong road
or another postcode
they had their strength in numbers
in their reputation stronghold
they couldn’t take our energies
achievements and our legacies
from when they want to try it
there eroding in their chemistry
