so there’s that first initial heavy slogging of grief
and after that, you go through it over and over
and old parts of it are heavy and stick with you, but there’s new parts of it that are also heavy, and they take you with them
dark. winding. and over and over and over, you’re thinking about it
so the confusing part is, i know that death doesn’t change
the permanence of that is immense, and so unforgiving. i know death is a fact, so why do i still find myself thinking-
