i never thought she’d leave so suddenly
her presence was so short lived, i was surprised to be abandoned
it must be like i have an illness that fights love being given to me
patient zero, i must be. patient zero i was, i thought
what a fool i am to think love will find me in these conditions, a jester i am
then i thought more. of the friends who would never text. of the peoplе who would never text unlеss necessary
and i say;
“don’t text me anymore
though you never texted before
one day, you’ll see me, but for now
just live with your people, and i will live in solitude
just leave me behind.”
i sign my letter, written with betrayal and remorse, because i could never prove that i had changed enough for them to love me
and i burn it, because those are my thoughts, sometimes. not always, nor should ever. love is cruel, but love is amazing
