except that it wasn’t. it’s not the weed all day and no f-ckboys vacation he had fantasized about while getting high with naomi. it’s a mental hospital. he’s the inhabitant

man voice 1:
what happened?

steve:
ay man, we was just chillin’. then he just jumped up and started screaming about some half naked girl following him around…

he could fill in the rest for himself: the girl was wearing one of his white tees with no pants on. at first everyone thought it was a joke and pulled out their cellphones yelling, “worldstar!” and “i hope this n-gga ain’t doin’ this for the vine!”. but then he started running towards his infinity pool, kicking off his shoes along the way. he was serious. he didn’t hesitate when he finally slid open the gl-ss doors leading to the backyard. he threw the shoes in first. then himself
steve and naomi got to him first. watching him float. he couldn’t see them but he knew they weren’t sad. then he slept

his vitals are stable. he’s just dehydrated

wouldn’t giving him more water be worse for him?

the boy fades out. he’s loling on the inside

he wakes up hours later, alone. his physical loneliness has finally caught up to his emotional loneliness
