the piece of electronic jazz we are now hearing
which i wrote about a year ago
represents one kind of electronic music
but the range of possibilities is enormous
extending from popular rock and roll to abstract kind of all music
one of the things i enjoy most about electronic music is it’s immediacy
the composer normally waits quite a long time before he puts his notes on paper
before his piece is performed in a concеrt hall
but a composer working with electronic music is morе-
a painter or a sculptor
who works directly with his media
and hears the sounds as they are created
