while working on this project , otis blk wished for it to be as organic as possible , at times leaving songs unfinished for extended periods of time

beyond the story, the songs are just great, and so varied, from the soulful “halo” to the brash, bombastic standout “mdanstane 2 tha world”. one listen and it’s clear that this is one of the most important voices in modern hip hop

the greatest hip hop project you have never heard. or have you? either way – this is one criminally underrated album, easily one of 2023’s finest
