the boy and dude 2 look at each other

in the living room, gl-ss shatters
fam yells for the boy to help, his white shirt covered in blood. behind him, dude 1 runs through the broken gl-ss wall, quickly shoots a hole through fams head. the boy doesn’t react. he doesn’t care

dude 1 – f-ck! sh-t got real f-cked up out there
dude 2 – (calmly) what happened?
dude 1 – those motherf-ckers came firing, (dude 3) shot their tires, they skidded out. f-cking shots and blood everywhere smh. you know what we gotta do (pulls out gun, points toward the boy)
—-dude 2 shakes head, pulls out gun, points at dude 1. bang!
the boy – (eyes wide, shocked) – the f-ck?
dude 2 – we gotta roll, i have a boat waiting for us
the boy – who the f-ck are you?
dude 2 – roscoe. i knew your dad. lets go
the boy – roscoe? youre kidding right? you got a wetsuit?
dude 2 – (puzzled) what? stop playing come on

they walk outside, bodies are on the ground in a pool of blood . dude 3s still alive. bang! not anymore

they make the way to a speed boat. they are now far away from the mansion in the ocean, the boy is troubled. he suddenly jumps into the cold ocean water. while the boy slowly drowns, dude 2 quickly puts a wetsuit on, and jumps in and rescues him. the boy is unconscious, but alive

the boy wakes up in the hospital. roscoe is there
roscoe – youre a lucky b-st-rd
the boy – whyd you save me?
roscoe – who says i did?
the boy – what?
a nurse walks in and asks who he is talking to. the boy looks around. no roscoe
the boy – myself…?
