somedays i pause to think to dismiss this earthly bliss in a time well spent in thought
when i was born i knew i had purpose in me even from a tiny seed in my momma’s belly
when was born a nurse held me in her hands and announced i would be very special
somedays honestly i’m a shooting star wanting to go far then i fall to my knees
i call all good moments in life god instances to strive daily to become

everyday there’s a brand new baby born and every night i got love to keep me warm
as i got a little bit older through adolescents it was no coincidence to the creative arts
in 1989 i wrote my first poem after the break up with my girlfriend mich-lle
now i got a really good story to tell poetry was my vent from away to express myself
was the king in my senior prom and lead in my play it was a blast from the past to display

many years have p-ssed still having every reason to grasp the notion of success
iv’e writen over 4,000 poems and 300 raps on the internet in various sites
today instead of seeking self to please i drop down on my knees that is my secret
couldn’t have made it without my higher power he was there every step of the way
i’m making an impact spreading love to the m-sses just one to touch one human soul
for if that takes effect then it made my life all the more worth living
