echoes through my wastelands of slowly fading perception
a dark serenity descends. my urging soul, soon released
process of purity, achieved. now i am rid of the flesh
memories of my pagan past: a plunge into the unknown
like distorting splinters of life in death’s embrace.
this fleshbound circle, resolved. eternal spirit, redeemed
a steaming breath of the one without no name
…who keeps the keys to the gates of death
laid to rest underneath oaken aeons. prophetic ornaments conclude my journey’s end
lifetimes p-ssing by as autumn leaves to the ground
a silhouette emerges in the mist. the messenger of my deliverance
his mouth – a thousand obsequies to devour
his eyes – a million sparks of life to deny.
