(verse 1: cam urquhart)
wake up look around and see no one there
circuit board in hand electrified hair
all is fading no balance time is scarce
ready to get up it’s time to head where
you are heading to
so please don’t move
got to intrude
running through the city streets i’m terrified to lose my life
approaching time i’m closer by the minute
universal pc hit delete commit a crime
to stop what might be end of time life just might diminish
mind is spastic lasting like specks of sand
hourgl-ss moves faster than the hour hand

(verse 2: cam urquhart)
wake up look around and see that you’re there
circuit board in hand electrified hair
glaring at me with a hundred yard stare
gotta get up gotta go somewhere else
before you blow
so please don’t blow
get up and go
running through an alleyway i’m terrified to lose my life
approaching time i’m closer by a mile
tunnel vision head is spinning all my focus put on living
minutes quicken but i trip into exile
mind is spastic lasting like specks of sand
inching closer still slower than the hour hand

(bridge: cam urquhart)
i’m trying to breath and trying not to bleed out
looking for a phone but i’m filled with doubt
laying in a puddle shocked and scared
pull out some wires play electric chair

(skit)
um, what i don’t want this to be is uh depressing
which seems kind of ironic right?
this is not about that
this is about recognizing what a great life you had
and recognizing uh, even if you don’t think you have a great life
the positives perhaps you have in your life
because this is about celebrating who you were
and uh, the hope is that you get a chance to look and go
“huh, yknow my life has some good stuff in it
i got some good people in my life
i can make good choices”
but it’s an opportunity for us to recognize the good we have in our life
and the positives we have in our lives
and maybe focus on those as we go forward
