[verse]
three deer lined up, three years, time’s up, careers tied up
glowing crosses hang dead rappers from victory
no, and losses aren’t equivalent to lost history
fly swarms in and out of ponds, sizzlin’ with their clinically
injested magic spreading like the black plague heading
straight north out the forest, rapping like i’m back way ‘mpedded
deer walk down paths, sunshine cools down the sunrise
animal onomotopoeia, once lied down into the exercise
the exorcism back into every schism, any living day i think it’s petty livin’
dragon flies hover, and tadpoles risе into the sun
black ties smother thе sad holes drawn with dung
it rises to the top, with the anthemic classic rock
in the backyard of a head of a store named “pat’s in stock”
a state park overrun by ashes of the long gone
stampeded by dogs with magic while the song sp-wns
i lose my grip on insanity, gazing into the stars
i feel my back and water dip into the pond, amazing, limbo it aren’t
then i go with a paddle boat into the ever-lined
everything i just imagined was took into the better shine
every king had just happened, childhood was mesmerized
didn’t wanna back it down so i just took the better lies
we go back to our house after the sunrise to the exercise
in the bed, piled up like pillows after we once was cried
figured out vultures 2 released and paused my red dead redemption game
came back, ears hurt a little, watchin’ these clowns get attention-made
rest for a snack, a handful of pretzels, see the salt drain out my hand moisture
i am loiter-ing around the sham poster, way lower, still enough to say so, or
maybe the next days went pretty fast, or the next week or so
we came down south to see our family lined up by the weak patrol
partied that night in the bas-m-nt, and almost was taking for a midnight snack
then the dogs petrified me as they held my hands like they lived way back
the next day, we went to our place near the trashy beach
by the bayside, rental salty like what they say means “attacking me”
the next day and after were beach days with red flags
spreadin’ ashes in the river, but we ain’t been bad
after the boat, we had dinner and went back to the beach place
next day or two we spent alone just tryna live out the next three days
next day after that we was at the beach just like we was behaved
and then we was at the boardwalk twice and a restaurant, caught three waves
made a summer playlist and was feeling good after we split three ways
we reunited after and went to the waterpark, smell of dippin’ dots
took my stomach into a lot of knots, hungry out my mind, but hungry out for slides
i waited my heart out on these stairs, delayed it ’til parts came out just scared
we was at the slides for four hours, then had lunch and some dippin’ dots
went back to our car with the check in the dashboard like i’m still so hot
drained out and dehydrated, dogs in the white caravan
thoughts of jumping from that height would scare a man
went back and did some more stuff over the next day
our family went to cape cod and we did stay
our rental weared out, and while packing, we were at the deli
got a m-ffin, went in the trunk and grabbed three bags, if you’re ready
we went to our cousins’ house without ’em to watch over their dogs
take ’em out three times a day and feed ’em kebble with protein blobs
went to rebel supply, skimmed through the vinyl records there
looked at igor and goblin for a second, but then i sighed a second, spare
my impatience, but i found what i wanted, kid a by radiohead, towered a lot and
i bought it, the lady at the counter gave me a weird coincidence
the kid a concept lines with the 9-11 attacks if you’re listenin’
optimistic is after the terror struck ’em and gave ’em ptsd
thought kid a aligned with tpab first, now i’m seein’ my leads
i bought it, and then kept it on display, we without a record player
a day or two there, and we were still at a second-dayer
the rest of the stay there, we didn’t do much
binged toy story and star wars, my childhood entities
now more matured and i still had a while good memories
then we packed up and started driving back
and while i sat there, i played “lift your skinny fists” and just relaxed
//outro//
man, the music i been listenin’ to
freudian, lift your skinny fists like antennas to heaven
crazy stuff, bro
go listen to “storm” by godspeed you if you haven’t already man
been a great week
