we see the problems going on and ignore it or make excuses
while pointing the finger with others for our own choices
saying we want the truth but then ignore it when it’s about our actions
we put the spotlight not on the good but these narcissistic hypocrites
who need weed to function going through depression
secretly seeking others validations who’s like-minded
calling themselves woke but they still sleep
walk around criticizing other people like you and me

but i’m not trying to be harsh sometimes the truth hurts
especially when the truth is spot on to your true character
but what’s done in the dark will show up in the light
for when that time comes there’ll be nowhere for you to run & hide
