it’s, um, it’s you from the past
i hope you’re getting this message well
if you are, then that means you’re still alive, which is great news
um, i want you to know first off that i’m proud of you
i know you don’t hear that a lot, so i just want you to know that i really mean that
i’m proud of you
hopefully, you’re still doing good with the whole music thing
or you’re at least doing something worthwhile with your life
you know, something more than just what’s going on now um
i wrote you a little something
i hope you enjoy it
it’s just a way to look back, like a time capsule almost
so you can go back five years and see what things were like back then
i put a lot into this, you know
i put a lot of time, thought, effort into it
so i really do hope you enjoy it
and to anyone else who might be finding this, i hope you enjoy it as well

this is a nice little project compilation, you might say, i put together
just as a little personal experience to take a look into what’s going on right now
what’s going on in my head, what’s going on in my life
what’s going on all around the world, just as a way to retrospect, i guess
