this is a story of a band called playdoe
they always fought and cause, they always said no
never agreed, but still played some punk rock
they never realized that they really really suck

playing songs no one wanted to hear
the bassist was always wasted on beer
the guitarist and drummer liked the same girl
the singer sang songs about being mad at the world

so one day playdoe decided to have a party
everyone was invited and they’d play for free
pladoe thought they would gеt real far
so they practiced rеally hard

playdoe had dreams of making it someday
on a major label from where they would get paid
the singer only wanted to be heard
the bassist was always just in it for the girls

pretty soon tensions started to flare
“why don’t you ever cut your long hair?”
the bassist had only been playing for half a year
the drummer had been stoned for a year

before they knew it they were supposed to play
but hardly anyone showed up that day
the cops had stopped them before they could play a note
and even though they’re gone now, they’ll still remain
playdoe!
