i can see his dreams
people worshiping him
him taking care of them
people invading

i knew the history already
i knew a mystery was here
yet i let him take over
and now i know his history
and something is wrong
i don’t know how to fix it
but i’ll figure out something
and he wakes up
he can hear my voice
i feel his presence all around me
“i know you’re watching
you know my past, correct?
we’re going to find them
we’ll locate thе remnants of alkatesks.”

the nеws has to be buzzing as an angry swarm
ever since the obelisk rose
i know it’s only a matter of time
until someone connected speaks up
but olíkatch is antsy
desperate to find the connections
when patience is a virtue

i’m trying what i can
to calm down his nerves
i can feel him twiddling his claws
grasping for any answer
remaining somewhere in the ether
he is longing for a solution
to this derelict feeling

how can i make him wait?
he’s been waiting for millennia
i guess i can’t blame him
for being this impatient
stuck in a cave for thousands of years
i can only imagine what was going through his head
as he watched his people get taken away
imagine the amount of shame
coming from not being able to save his tribe
from an invading force
and being sealed away
not being able to escape
to rescue your people
i don’t know what to think anymore

all i hear from him is “save me.”
