hype: alright, this is it right? we are rolling and we’re recording, let’s begin. this is a very special interview right here. long time coming man. long time coming man…long time coming, an exciting time, an exciting night for obvious reasons. any way here we are man. so this is where the music gets made

stukz: yep yep yep this is it

hype : how many visitors really…i mean i know there’s a lot of people in here tonight for obvious reasons, because, you know, we’re tryna capture something. you know…but, uhm, you know, when it’s, when it’s… business time, how many…how many visitors generally roll through here? cause the vibe i get is you guys keep it pretty…pretty light

stukz: yeah, i don’t really. i’m not really into, like, a whole bunch of people and distraction, uhm…i have, you know, i have respect for everybody and their craft in whatever they do. so i expect the same thing when people come in here, i don’t want a bunch of hustle and bustle, talking and…loud you know. and…and the other thing that’s tough when you invite people in the studio…is they’re obviously coming to watch something happen

hype: right

stukz: and it doesn’t always happen every night. you know…it’s not like every night is some magic moment. i mean, there’s nights of frustration, there’s nights of nothingness, there’s night of just…you know, uh…these little tactical, uh, things. that clinical, surgical edits and stuff that… i pretty much gauge the characters that are allowed to sit in here based off of how they conduct themselves on those type of nights

hype: what drew you into music?

stukz: my love for poetry and my love for telling stories and of course the influence of my late brother constantly playing 2pac. i fell in love with everything

hype: let’s fast forward to 2016/2017, angels and amazing dreams is one of the most antic-p-ted alb-ms of the year. how do you feel about what you are achieving with the singles and the reactions? it’s a very pivotal point for you

stukz: yeah i mean its one of those moments in my career where the alb-m is starting to build and build and you know when antic-p-tion starts to build, it can either result in m-ssive failure or m-ssive success. obviously somebody’s watching over us and it’s resulting in m-ssive success and it’s also just an opportunity to take a lot of risks that i feel i should take right now

hype: you revealed that you’re in a relationship not so long ago, what’s it like being with thando?

stukz: one day, you guys are gonna come up with an original question, there has to be a deeper question than “what’s it like being with thando” it’s great, but i can never tell you what it’s like. it’s like when you ask people those questions—as it relates to what? i have liked her for a long time so it’s a trip to be finally able to call her mine

hype: let’s just talk about you and thando for a while cause it’s such an interesting relationship you choosing to shun all the actresses and celebrities to be with her, tell us like a little bit of his adventure

stukz: it’s all about happiness really and where my heart is, and truth is i adore thando. i’ve always felt this way about her. she is my heart in human form. i could go on for millennia talking about her and i’m also very protective of her

hype: what’s the plan going forward?

stukz: i am really spending most of my time at my parents house just to get that natural energy/inspiration. i also wanna spend more time with my girl and just get a boost from that energy
