letra de we're all egyptian - hakeem fizzle
[intro]
a country that was so beautiful
a country that is known for holding one of the seven wonders of the world
a country that has become nothing but corrupt and hurt
a country whose government can’t even abide by their own rules
a country which we can fix using our brains and the right tools
egypt – wake up to yourselves
okay this had to be said sooner than later. yeah -young marone-
[verse 1: young marone]
a government added with stubbornness minus governance
squared in deaths, multiplied with no common sense
divided with a violent army defense
hence equivalent to egypt being the world’s worst compliment
some might feel moral sense
some might open their eyes
some might take offense
population aware that the nations corrupt
same breed of people, same type of blood
shed on the streets
same type of tears that they weep
the fact that every day is a misery indeed
the fact that it’s known to be normal
fearing for their life everyday becomes mortal
things are more cruel
second by second, protests happening
till the colour of the sky goes by, blackening
shots rattling, atmosphere saddening, politics say their managing
the country’s been abandoned with
i swear right now i’m ashamed to say that i’m egyptian
‘cause the ones without brains portray the land as mischief
name a mane that went out his way to teach the meaning of our existence
[hook/hook]
no matter what religion
islam or christian
just understand that we’re all egyptian
put aside our collisions
because we ain’t villains
time to reach our ambitions
we’re all egyptian
[verse 2: young marone]
imagine
that you’re unemployed
haven’t eaten in days cause your house is destroyed
can’t even go to church without being paranoid
can’t even go to sleep without avoiding the noise
and it’s all over the news
the amount the deaths that reoccur, the abuse
the only way out is to make a lame excuse
while the president ain’t even walked in their shoes
it’s all false perceptions, misconceptions
deceiving men who are just impetuous
so that’s why i’m here, a poet with a message
just to let ya’ll know not to wreck something precious
we should be, united as one
regardless of our beliefs or what city we came from
every time we fight, down goes our reputation
people are even scared to travel there for vacation
it shatters egypt into pieces
leaving us with no chance of peace
and irritated polices
on the streets every weekend
till we get weakened
isn’t that what ya’ll are seeing?
or ya’ll just blinded by some fake human beings?
a structure, a plan
hope, wisdom
who will stand?
i’m just willing to know if ya ready
to get back on board, make things steady
harmony, love, peace and pride
is what we need to survive
so enough playing with innocent people’s lives
put away them guns, put away them knives
don’t you wanna teach yo children
the positive ways of improvement
and the fact how we had big dreams and we pursued them?
we’re all egyptian, the same type of humans
[hook/hook]
no matter what religion
islam or christian
just understand that we’re all egyptian
put aside our collisions
because we ain’t villains
time to reach our ambitions
we’re all egyptian
[outro]
the situation can become better if we find the right people in this sensitive time
we need trustworthy people to lead us
we need to work together as a whole group. it will take us time but in the end it’ll be worth it
to be egyptian means you should be honest and peaceful
no matter what religion, islam or christian just understand that we’re all egyptian
put aside our collisions because we’re originally peaceful people
time to reach our ambitions. we’re all egyptian
