let me tell you what my eyes have seen
something i thought was just a legend
an ancient tale my grandfather told me
when i was only a kid
on the lowland two fencers are fighting
swords in hand, an equal duel
no one knows the reason for the dispute
their names or where they come from
whirling slashes in a dance of blades
a confrontation with no holds barred

since a long time they′ve been facing
for many days i went back to that place
and the challengers were always
there, unyielding
great was my dismay until i

identical in form, opposite in substance
neither will surrender till
