awaken to cacophony
drifting i try to arise

a formless dimension beyond comprehension
won’t witness the specter again so i ran

running so scared i come out of my sneakers
surrounded by demons they screaming from multiple sources
my head started pounding i’m seething
hit the back gate viewing the visions again
run around the corner open up the shed

descend in the blackness i tread
stumble out into the darkness

feeling compelled to start listening to ’em

and as soon as i thought it heard murmurs of dread

panic running up the staircase when
i looked down at my hands and i noticed the blood
drying in between each of my fingers
malodorous scent reminiscent of death
deep inside of my nostrils it lingers
get to the top of the stairs
the machete is lying there covered in crimson
from down the hallway i hear the wind whistling
causing me pause so i stop and i listen…
maybe i’m tripping but i can hear something creeping
from behind me ascending the stairway
i gotta get away the tension
is steadily increasing inside of me…
so i fled jump into the bedroom
shut the door behind me thinking i’m finna be dead soon
til i look around and see how the body parts are strewn
all over the floor and the closet is open
i’m seeing a radiant light and its beckons me in
but the corpses are broken the carpet is soaking
an ominous feeling begins to set in
as soon as i step in the closets direction
the light is replaced with multiple reflections
beyond time and sp-ce leaving me in a daze
sitting within a tempestuous haze
go forth and go get me deliver me bodies
and stack em up high is what i saw inside of the
geometric patterns popping in and out of sight
oscillating in the reflected light
the amorphous blight bubbling blaspheming
in the center of infinity confusing me
with flutes and with drums monotonous whines
i exist out of sp-ce drifting out of time
snap back to reality surrounded by the dead
feel like i’m losing my mind feel like i’m outta my head
feel like i’m witnessing the universe unwind instead
within the secrets revealed i feel i’ve been misled
gotta get up get to running darkness coming i can see it
the allure of the abundant knowledge power inner secrets
and the right to levy judgement on another motherf-cker
it burns the rage the fire eternal torment discerned
it’s an illusion the dissolution
of my inner psyche got me frightened to
accept to be enlightened got me walking down the path
but i don’t know where to turn to next
only choice seems to be regress
accepting my fate i pick up the machete
the body is willing the mind is not ready
descending the stairway it hungrily gnaws
life and death don’t really matter at all
chaos destruction inevitable entropy
destiny manifest no matter what we speak
leads to the blackness it swallows us all
ending in nothing the galaxy calls
walking so slowly and closely approaching
the doorway preparing for violence
open the portal step out of the door
greeted by nothing but silence
