‘gainst the inhabitants
of this all-but-charmed lair:
a maze of wizard construct
with monsters everywhere
threading the corridors for hours now
and you’ve not yet attained your goal
whispering in shadows ahead you hear:
maybe something sent to take your soul
you draw your weapon out —
prepare to fight as you lived
you raise a stalwart shout
lunge, and a slash you give
tall demon groans in pain
as it tries to attack
an arm falls to the ground
and then its head you hack
