listenin’ to everybody brag about how wasted they’ve been gettin’
i started to associate liquor with fun times
but social gatherings and quiet nights – a blurred line
but i’m lonely – n0body in my inbox
so to put my mind at ease i sip lots
scull some, double shot
the bubbly calms my temper when it bubbles hot
feelin’ so unwanted so i punch onward
forget therapy cos underproof does wonders
i’ve always said that i wanted to be like eminem
royce, suffa and eso but this wasn’t what i meant
impulsivity and addiction walk hand in hand
i’m so impulsive to a point that i don’t stand a chance
had an intervention and a couple man-to-mans
for a little bit of spirits i’ll abandon plans
it’s true – ignorance is bliss
cos i was better off before i knew about this sh-t
before i knew that alcohol could help my mind to drift
and before i knew how much happiness it could give
