2015 is showing up to be a great year in music with releases from big artists like a$ap rocky, kanye west, and drake among others. this year alone, kanye is releasing his 7th album on an unannounced date along with a$ap rocky releasing his soph0m-re album, etc. with solid releases from these huge artists, this year could could easily beat 2014 in rap music

as of todays date- february 27, 2015 some of the most outstanding music i’ve heard includes:

1. lord pretty flacko jodye ii by a$ap rocky [released dec. 31, 2014]

2. if your reading this its too late by drake [released feb. 13th, 2015]

3. wolves by kanye west (feat. sia and vic mensa) [released feb. 12, 2015]

4. only one by kanye west (feat. paul mccartney) [released dec. 31, 2014]

5. nothing but net by travi$ scott (feat. partynextdoor and young thug) [released jan. 27, 2015]

the artists i’m watching out for:
kanye west- 7th album released sometime this year

a$ap rocky – soph0m-re album also sometime this year

drake- “views from the 6.” his first album from his own label
ovo. album date unannounced. most likely spring

kid cudi- releasing man on the moon iii sometime this year

frank ocean- his soph0m-re album is most likely pushed to this year after it was delayed from the summer of 2014

partynextdoor- via twitter, announced a new ep is going to be released before summer.

the weeknd- via twitter, has hinted at working on new music unrelated to “50 shades of grey.” likely releases to come out later this year

chance the rapper- releasing his debut album, “surf” with band “social experiment.”

travi$ scott- releasing his debut album “rodeo” following up his acclaimed mixtape “days before rodeo.”
